This all-natural, barrel aged black mission fig balsamic vinegar is very dense, bursting with sweet, complex fig flavor.
Made in Modena, Italy, using Trebbiano grapes and on occasion with some Lambrusco grape must, this balsamic undergoes cooking and caramelizing in a copper kettle over an open wood fire before being aged in wood barrels using the traditional Solera Method.
Bold and beautiful, amazing on avocado, tomatoes, as a BBQ glaze, or with cheese for a sophisticated cheese plate. Pairs really well with Viva Oliva’s extra virgin olive oils and the Basil Infused Olive Oil.
