The Acala micro sponge has a pore size of only 1 µm (1 millionth of a metre) smaller than a bacteria in the water.

Only clear water can pass through the fine pores, keeping the Acala filter cartridge clean and fully efficient throughout the entire service life.

The average life of the sponge with proper application is 6 months.

We recommend using the micro sponge for general use of the Acala.
