These weldable hinge plate are 1/4″ thick and weighs 1 lbs each. They are designed to connect the gate to the post, and typically are used where a hinge must be welded to another metal surface. Moreover, when a heavy duty drill bit is used, they can have holes drilled in them for screw mounting.
