Description
Tagetes erecta – Massive 5 wide brilliant orange blooms flower from Summer to frost atop 3 sturdy plants. Long lived blooms and tall strong stems make this an excellent cut flower. both leaves and flowers are aromatic when crushed or brushed. Fragrant flowers attract pollinators.
Plant requires full sun, and frequent watering. It takes approximately 3 months to grow from seed into full blooms. Plant the seeds with a light layer of soil on top and keep top soil wet. Seeds will germinate rapidly in 2 to 3 days. You may plant in a small pot and replant in final position when the plants are established.
